global

In 2011, we watched as Orphan Sunday spread around the world.  In places like Ukraine, Kenya and Philippines, hundreds of thousands of Christians celebrated Orphan Sunday and were called to the orphans in their communities.  The Orphan Sunday site was visited by people in 55 nations.  We embraced this global move of God and are working to provide resources to serve our brothers and sisters in this work.

Through the volunteer assistance of many global partners, we are hoping to provide the Orphan Sunday web site in eight languages this year.  We are also creating materials about Orphan Sunday that are relevant for various cultures.  We hope to offer translated content in Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin, French and Indonesian over the next few months.

This movement is possible only through the volunteer assistance of our coordinators, currently in 22 countries.  If you can assist us with translation or graphics for our international offerings, or if you can help us promote Orphan Sunday in your nation, contact our International Director, Jodi Jackson Tucker at tucker@christianalliancefororphans.org.
